Guidelines for authors

EconoQuantum utilizes an OJS system for its editorial management. Hence all manuscripts sent by authors must be entered through this system. Authors may submit their work once they have registered, and these must include the forms of statement of authorship, good practice, and transfer of rights.

Authors are required to make sure that their work complies with all the elements shown in the submission checklist. Due to editorial policies, all submissions must be made on this platform, and therefore, no manuscripts sent directly via email will be received.

The articles submitted must be presented in Microsoft Word or PDF, in Times New Roman 12-point font, and 1.5 cm spacing (except tables). The maximum length is 35 letter-size sheets (215.9 x 279.4 mm), including tables, figures, references, and annexes. The abstract will not exceed 150 words, strictly following the order below and specifying the following elements.

i. Objective (s): This section describes the purpose of the document (it gives an account of what the results of the study intend to achieve).

ii. Methodology: Briefly describe the methods used in conducting the study, the design of the experiment, the selection of the population or sample, and the statistical techniques used for data analysis.

iii. Results: Mention the discoveries and their interpretation.

iv. Limitations/implications: Define limits on time, space, resources, and scope of the research.

v. Originality/value: Briefly describe the originality and value of the contribution based on a review of the literature on the topic.

vi. Conclusions: Implications of the results and their relationship with the aim of the research.

A maximum of five keywords must be included, as well as the JEL codes (https://www.aeaweb.org/econlit/jelCodes.php?view=jel). The title, abstract, and keywords must be included at the start of the article, in Spanish and with their translation in English. A version of the full document in PDF must be included.

Furthermore, the reference list must have complete information about the respective source, including the DOI (Digital Object Identifier) and must be inserted at the end of the article, before any annex. The authors should ensure that there is a strict correspondence between the names and years recognized in the text and those listed in the bibliography.

The submissions that do not comply with these guidelines will be returned.
