Approach and scope

EconoQuantum is a quantitative journal on economy and finance. Its objective is to provide a space for debate and the dissemination of frontier knowledge in all areas related to economy and finance, as long as they are based on rigourous, quantitative grounds. EconoQuantum indistinctively publishes the scientific articles of applied and theoretical nature sustained on events of empirical relevance. Its geographic scope is Mexico, Latin America and the emerging countries. It is addressed to researchers, students, designers of economic and financial policies, as well as decision makers of the public and private sectors. No restrictions apply on the type of quantitative methodology that was used, as long as they are rigourous techniques of analysis. Papers on econometric, numeric and partial or general models of equilibrium are eligible for publication. Neither are restrictions applied on theoretical perspectives of papers as long as they fulfill the evaluation criteria. Essays, book reviews, case studies and manuscripts of qualitative nature are not the type of papers considered to be published in EconoQuantum.

Papers in English or Spanish are accepted.

EconoQuantum paper evaluation is a double blind process.
