Approach and scope
EconoQuantum is a quantitative journal of economics and finance. Its objective is to provide a forum for debate and the dissemination of frontier knowledge in all areas related to economics and finance, provided that contributions are grounded in rigorous, quantitative methods.
EconoQuantum publishes both theoretical and applied scientific articles that address issues of empirical relevance. Its geographic focus includes Mexico, Latin America, and other emerging economies. The journal is intended for researchers, students, economic and financial policymakers, as well as decision-makers in both the public and private sectors.
No restrictions are imposed on the quantitative methodologies employed, provided that they meet rigorous analytical standards. Papers using econometric techniques, numerical methods, and partial or general equilibrium models are eligible for publication. Likewise, the journal does not favor any particular theoretical perspective, as long as submissions satisfy the established evaluation criteria.
Essays, book reviews, case studies, and manuscripts of a primarily qualitative nature are not considered for publication. Manuscripts may be submitted in either English or Spanish. All submissions undergo a double-blind peer-review process.
